Rebecca Denton has been combining her ideas with ancient printmaking techniques, particularly etching for over two decades to create beautiful, handmade and therefore unique prints.

‘Park Runner’ –  is a beautiful colour etching showing a female runner on Hampstead Heath, with a view of London.

Rebecca has redrawn her original pencil sketch directly onto a sheet of tissue, placed over the grounded plate. The plate is inked and pulled through an etching press for every print in the limited edition, meaning each one is unique. She loves the grainy texture and the softness of the line achievable with this technique.
