Rebecca Denton has been combining her ideas with ancient printmaking techniques, particularly etching for over two decades to create beautiful, handmade and therefore unique prints.

This card is a reproduction from her original Drypoint etching of  ‘Runner’ – another original print from Rebecca’s Running series, created in her home studio during lockdown.

Running… the best thing for both the mind and body! An embodiment of freedom, strength and determination.

This is a drypoint engraving with monoprint a form of etching where the image is created by scratching directly onto the plate. Since no acid is needed, the metal isn’t dissolved as on an etched plate, but is thrown up on each side of the line, creating a thicker, soft line wearing down with each successive print (hence the small edition of just 9 prints).

The cards come with a recycled brown Kraft envelope in biogdegradable cello bags.

Orders are packed in between board and bubble wrap in a stiffened envelope and shipped signed and tracked within 4 days.
